b'David BuckinghamDavid is a Flamenco and Classical guitarist, he works with Placido Domingo, The Gipsy Kings, Russell Watson, Carlos Acosta, and The Royal Ballet, so I wouldnt normally expect to have much connection. He is one of many artists introduced to me by Tristan Seume, they have a lot in common and are often mistaken for brothers. When professional guitarists meet up, obviously much of their conversation is about music, and the instruments that they use.If a new guitar has appeared, it will be the main topic for the duration of several drinks, and in the case of David and Tristan, probably quite a lot of cheese.David was rather taken with the rather unusual Goodfellow that Tris had cunningly acquired.I made David something very similar, and he was kind enough to play that guitar during the wedding of my stepdaughter Judith. Having become indoctrinated during the process, he ordered another guitar.I do not recommend that as a cost effective sales technique, but it is good to have him on board.Tristan and David often send me pictures of themselves eating cheese and drinking wine, and other pictures from just about any unusual place they find themselves in. Recently they were on their way home from a brief stay at our house and got stuck in a traffic jam on the M25. They didnt know what to do, so took the obvious route - they climbed out of their car, took a selfie of themselves standing in the middle lane, and sent it to me, I suppose they were thinking that I could do something about it.Always willing to oblige, I waved my magic wand and removed the traffic jam instantly. It was a bit dangerous, because they were still standing in the middle of the motorway.88'
