b'Pack LeaderAn exciting but doomed adventure into making electric guitars in 1978. My partners were Terry Pack, and Barry Barlow from Jethro Tull. We made a few from African Walnut but mostly used solid Indian Rosewood, highly contoured front and back with laminated through neck and silver and pearl inlays, all done by hand. The truss rod ran underneath the pickups to an adjuster below the bridge. The guitar on the left of these three was made entirely by hand, the pickup cavities were drilled and chiseled. The shape was done with a violin plane.Bottom middle is John Miles, Bottom right is Terry Pack. Bottom left is the final refined version of the guitar on the front of the Di Marzio pickups catalogue. These have been described as The ultimate electric guitar.32'
