b'The fingerboard and frets were properly worn, so new tuners, new frets, some fingerboard divots filled in, but as a nod to its history, I decided to leave that one inlay missing I managed to keep the outside of the sides almost original. Fitting new bindings and purflings was an issue because the shape had changed so much, but even up close its not easy to see compromises amongst everything else. Careful scraping and filing, then a little French polish over the bare wood sections was all that was needed. It looks rough but is actually very smooth and playable 219'
