b'WEEK 35: SEASON LIGHTLYThe opaques, the fine knits and earthy tones. Ladies and gents were back into that transitional phase again, tickling the toes of Autumn, my favourite season. This Breton jersey dress by Whistles is an easy daytime look. The neckline sits spot on the collar bone, which I love to see; the skirt isnt too full; vertical stripes flatter and by now you should know my excitement at finding concealed side pockets. The work is all done for you. Ive added pearl earrings and brooch and introduced deep brown tones in the bag and heeled Office loafers. Tip: Tailored shirts underneath dresses work really well: stiffer collars add a point of interest. Roll up the sleeves to look the business.OppositeTop left to right: Jaeger Boutique tee with peplum hem; Armand Ventilo jeans, vintage scarf, Oliver Goldsmith shades, H&M flats; vintage headscarf & Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses; agns b eau de nil tank top; as oppositeMiddle left to right: H&M shirt dress, River Island bleached jeans, Adidas Stan Smith trainers, Panama hat, vintage earrings; mustard, blues & golds; Topshop jumper, La Redoute gold collar, Whistles navy maxi skirt; Zara burgundy sling-backs, Dune clutch.Bottom left to right: Hobbs silk oak leaf print blouse (belt worn as neck-tie), vintage BHS pleated skirt, M&S cream t-bar heels, Reiss leather bag; eau de nil tank top, ASOS sheer polka blouse, denim A-line midi skirt, Bertie flats; N.W.3 tweed skirt, John Lewis knit, American Apparel sheer blouse; Bertie ankle boots, vintage saddle bag, bangles.Page 94'
