In October I joined BBC 1sTheOneShow,talkingtoAlexJones about the daily challenge of wearing pre-loved. At the beginning of December it was a pleasure to join Radio 1 DJ Trevor Nelson as the station launched 1 Million Volunteer Hours, which aims to raise the profile of volunteeringamongsttheirunder-25 audience. We were tasked with dressing a mannequin at the Marylebone High Street Cancer Research UK shop and frankly, we nailed it! AlsoinDecember,Iwasaguestat TheEmeraldsandIvyBallinLondon. This event is hosted by Ronan and Storm Keating, champions of The MarieKeating Foundation,whichraisesmuchneeded funds for mobile early detection units.
