b'WEEK 23: OH! HENRYDesigner Henry Holland crashed onto planet fashion back in 2006 with his slogan tees and brilliant wit.Appealing to the style savvy, he fuses street culture with great tailoring and his House of Holland brand continues to grow. His H! for Debenhams diffusion line combines the same spirit and fun and I was lucky enough to find this tie-waisted shirt, with cornflower print. I teamed it with a vintage navy BHS skirt, denim jacket, DvF lips brooch and a pair of Monet earrings from the 1980s, when the department store jewellery carousel was the go-to-place for jazzy jewellery. Little did I know back in June 2015 that Henry would become part of this book. His foreword is personal, tender and reveals the love of fashion that he is still able to share with his mother. Panic not, Henry, my knickers will always be my own! Tip: Give your pre-loved jewellery a little clean to start the next stage of its fashion journey.OppositeTop left to right: Topshop denim jacket, H&M dress, H&M sandals; Gap floral shirt, H&M denim knickerbockers; Topshop blazer, Charles Tyrwhitt shirt, Phase Eight dress, Clarks brogues.Middle left to right: H&M shirt dress, Forever21 sandals; navy, tan & yellow accents; Krispy sheer top over Boden polka shirt, Zara skirt, Saxone heels.Bottom left to right: as opposite; power stripes; Gap blazer, M&S dress, tan belt, shoulder bag & New Look heels.Page 64'
