Le Mont St Michel, an island off the coast of Normandy that was home to a Benedictine Monastery. Today, friars and sisters from "Les Fraternités Monastiques de Jerusalem" ensure a spiritual presence.
I have been fascinated by Le Mont St Michel for over 20 years and I have always wanted to create a body of work that captured the intrigue of this unique place. The "art" photographs in this book were taken over a five year period and I hope they capture some of the "essence" of this UNESCO world heritage site.
